FIRST TOURNEY

Heh, ok Ax...although looking back now, I don't see where I officially said no 2 people could be the same character, I might have and it WAS my intention either way. JUST to avoid confusion though...I'm thinking about making an exception for Ax and then just putting him on opposite sides of the chart as lcoolj or whatever.

In fact, because Ax has been here as long as I have I will allow him to be Link. If both Link players end up facing each other in the championship match or whatever, one will have to be Dark Link so we can easily distinguish between the 2.

But DO remember that this is an exception that will not be made in future tournies and you better have a good reason if you want me to make another within this tourney. I will make the rules more clear next time and maybe even lock the topic in the beginning until all admins have a chance to see it. Who knows, there's various options that can be explored once Brawl comes out here. Once we see what characters and features and colors etc are available I just might change the rules for the next tourney. For now, starting roster only and keep any more spoilers (whether they're Dojo updates or not) out of this topic. Even stages. Only starting stages will be available to choose from.

Oh, and since Final Destination was NOT marked as a spoiler, I'm assuming that can be added to the list. So if the two competitors cannot agree on a stage then they will have to decide between FD and Battlefield...if they're STILL unable to reach an agreement, they will just hit the random option. Be warned: if there is too much hassle in deciding on a stage for this tourney, future tournies will feature either hand-picked stages a-la me or an overuse of the random option. Heck, even characters may be chosen at random eventually...a Brawl Master's tourney would be fun what with all players having to adapt quickly to stages, characters, and even items that they may not be used to! Ignore the tiers and just get good with everyone. That's how I like to play the game anyways, so making a whole tourney off of that could be fun. And...well, I'm WAY off topic now. Nevermind. I'll post more ideas for tournies at a later date...or maybe just later time in a new topic depending. But that may require waiting for all unlockables to be acheived first.

Ok, I can feel myself getting ready to go off on another tangent so I'mma stop here. Please rememebr that I have not had much sleep lately and excuse my long posts of doom XD

Thanks, S.S. I appreciate it you letting me be Link, but if there's too much problem or if someone complains etc. I could go back to Mario, and if I am Link then I'll be a red Link or Dark Link like you suggested.

I'm making the tourney chart right now and if more people join (I think everyone who has 50 posts as of now is already in) I'll add to it when that time comes.

I don't think 1v1v1 is fair because 2 people could gang up on 1 person.

NEW RULE: No ganging up on people if we have a 1v1v1! If you do that, you wil be DISQUALIFIED.

OLD RULE: 1 on 1!

I'm not gonna worry about 1v1v1...too much to worry about. And it doesn't matter what color Olimar you are, Ax is the only exception to the "one person per character" rule so you're just Olimar, no matter what color.

Also, right before the tourney starts, we need to remember to PM everyone to make sure they're in.

So.....how are we gonna do the fighting? Is someone gonna sit out?

I wouldnt say very hard at all....you havent played the game...therefore you shouldnt judge whether it would be hard to unlock a character or not..

But i never said i wouldnt use Fox.....i just changed it to Wolf....besides way before the game cameout...ive always wanted Wolf...EVEN THOUGH, I LOVE FOX WITH PASSION (GAMEWISE)

So, you definetely think Leve and Shoko will be finalists? where do you base that assumption from? none of us have seen each other play the game before, so we don't know how we play,Let me just say that I am bringing hell to everyone in this tournament.

S-S, S-s, S-S....You never know who will win. I could take almost any attack if I'm Luigi. I almost always get back to the stage. I'll make you pass out from using too much energy trying to K.O me!

I just figured since they started this site (especially Shoko) then they must be pretty damn good. I understand anyone can win (otherwise why would I enter?) that's just my prediction.

And Dal, count me in for your tourney. I'll decide who I wanna be after I've unlocked all the veterans.

People are easily influenced by things to believe in things. Only when one has seen them in battle may they judge winners.

Anyways, I'll speak to cyan now, sicne its obvious wolf has been spoiled (and he hasnt been hidden by ss yet ). I know he is hard to unlock because i know of quite a few people who made posts on other forums and saying they've unlocked a bunch of characters but wolf eludes them, yet.
He might not necessarily be hard to unlock but he may require time or a special unthought of technique to unlock.
