Its one of my friends that is an XB fanboy. He likes the series but doesn't want to learn advanced techniques.

Oh no, no no tsk tsk tsk..you know I've never even tried to use the C-Stick..what would that feel like?

^I dont get it...Smashing is very easy. Then again, I don't think any XB games have you pressing two buttons at the same time, so maybe thats why. He uses fox and the best thing he can do is shine spike (jump off edge and shine returning opponent) although he only hits it about half the time.

BTW, the C-Stick was incorporated into the game as a control mechanism so iono why people say it's cheating...it's not even as powerful as smashing so it just helps if someone or multiple someones are attacking you rapidly and you need to smash to gain the upper edge. Besides, it was used for camera angles in one player mode so I don't think you have to worry about him doing that in co-op...

And as for the switching characters it looks kinda like X-Men Legends or Marvel Alliance (although the latter isn't as good) You die and you have to switch to another character and so on until you find a save point (or finish the level in this case) That way you can't just fly through it with your main: one slip-up and you'll be using a character you're not as experienced with =P

i have 6 brothers and 3 sisters......i dont play with them

yeah S.S. good points about the C-Stick, and it's not cheatin but it seems to be for novices, since it's automatic instead of manual...

and ok, Wario, if you are saying the truth, then you beat us all in sibling quantity..

1. No one said it was cheating, its a stereotypical noob move.
2. I use the C-Stick, but only for meteor smashes.
3. Thats the point. If he can't use it in co-op, that means he can't smash in co-op.

I believe him: many Mexican families have lots of kids. Same is true for Mormons. Not a racist comment btw, so don't get offended, but that's just the side of the culture I've seen from my Mexican friends at school...

Yeah, I use it for meteor smashes and situations like I depicted above...but my friends call it cheating which is why I figured that was your intention: my bad.

Yeah, and he is a mixed race, Mestizo, so with more reason..I am Mexican and have a big family too, but nos as big..

I don't exactly know what Meteor smashing is but I'm sure I do it, or have done it..but when it comes to terms I don't know

Axtlar: Meteor Smashing: An edge-guarding technique. As your opponent is attempting to return to the stage, you jump off and attack them with a move that sends them downward to their death, then you return to the stage. Meteor Smash attacks are commonly Down+A Attacks while in the air.

Its virtually impossible to do a meteor smash (Using A+Down rather than the C-Stick) without fast falling, and if you are meteor smashing far from the stage (with a horrible returner, lol Falcon) its incredibily difficult to return, which is why I use the C-Stick.

oh yeah! my college friends called this a "spike" yeah I do this with Falco and with Ganondorf and Falcon too, they're the best at it, well also Ness and Mewtwo for me.

Leve: I wonder, do you know Falcon's combo recovery technique when being far from the stage?

@ king - yeah....it sometimes happens....but if your fast enough with your thumb....it won't happened

Probably not. I'm a noob I use Falcon Kick when I'm far and high and I'm trying to learn to tech but thats really hard. Other than that, no, I dont.

hmm... or be able to take the enemy's power and use it against them

I think he's talking about sentimental feelings you could have as you're watching a sequence before fighting a boss, in which the boss kills a character you like, and then you're filled with fury and ready to massacre the boss...ok maybe not..

and Leve, maybe you know the techinque: when you're far from the stage, and high form it, and are not able to recover solely with up-B, jump once and do a Falcon kick and you get an extra jump, so use it and then up-B

^Yeah, I use that occasionally. However, I'm rarely knocked high enough for it to work.
