2nd Admin

as u all know, i am very busy, and will continue to be until summer, which is why i need a 2nd-in-command. now remember, u must be on often. so do i have any volunteers?

Let me tell you who's in here very often: me, and I would very much like to be admin, so if you consider me, I would be happy.

I think either Leve, Ax, or Dumbass. They seem to be on the most.

Can I ask what powers an Admin has that a moderator does not?

Ehh I'm hardly on here...mostly on Wiichat...sorry...Prob wouldn't be a good one anyway lol...I say LIK or Axtlar

An Admin on the forum can enter the "Administration Panel" which allows you to... change the colors of the site, add smiley's, cange the logo, and any style things on the forum.
They can also add categories, forums, and/or sub-forums.
Another thing is that they can do general things such as how the emails and PM's work, Profiles, set up some things such as allow moderators to ban, you can also enable a list at the bottom that allows you to see who has been online for the ? hours, enable word censoring, and make a chatbox below the website.
Admins can also do things with users such as delete them, rank them(Moderator, Admin I think, ect.), and make groups. Also with users you can allow them to have automatic login, disable members from registering, allow users to change there username, allow sigs, and more.

Well, although these forums are not very active right now, I just looked at the post count stuff: Axtlar has the highest followed by me.

Seeing as Ax has THE highest, and is already a mod, I say it should be him. Others would do great, no question. But Ax has the highest post count so my vote goes to him =P

Thanks for your responses and votes guys, but Shoko already made me and Leve administrators, so it's all good now, now we just need the game to swap codes and start fighting and logging into here more.

oh ok...I didn't know since there are no evidence of any admins around...you should make Icons for the mods and admins that way people can tell...

The thread is about getting a 2nd admin. We already have 3 admins so unless this is about getting a 4th admin then this is really useless and can only be used for spam.

...spam which you and I are contributing to ;D

And again, archive purposes. Maybe locked, but certainly not deleted. And even then it's slightly unneccessary, just don't post and let the topic die if it means that much to you =P

I agree, and I think that a usertitle would help as well. Seeing as you seem to know more about forumotion than any of us, is there any way for us [either admins, mods, or members] to activate usertitles, like Shoko has?

Well if you want something like Shoko does( it says Admin under his name) then yes but if you want what WiiChat does where you can edit it to anything you want then you can't :( ...at least I'm not aware of it yet....But if you are an admin and you want to change someones title thing then...

1. Go to Admin Panel
2. Go to "Users & Groups"(should be at the top)
3. Click "Users" on the page. Icon will have this...

4. Look for the user you want to change the title of. In this case it would be your name you are looking for.
5. once you find your name look to the very right and click the gear for edit the profile.

6. Scroll to the very bottom and above "Delete this user ?" is "Rank Title :". Look to the right of that and you will find a bar thing that you can click to give you a list of ranks. at this moment of the forum I think there are only Admin and Moderator as a rank.
7. click it and click the title you want to give to the person. So for you you would click Admin
8. Save it and then you are done.

A simpler way of doing this is...

1. Look under your avater and post count( On the forum) and you will see icons.
2. Click the Icon that looks like this...

3. Now when you get to there profile click the "Profile Information" button at the right.
4. Scroll to the very bottom and above "Delete this user ?" is "Rank Title :". Look to the right of that and you will find a bar thing that you can click to give you a list of ranks. at this moment of the forum I think there are only Admin and Moderator as a rank.
5. click it and clcikt he title you want to give to the person. So for you you would click Admin
6. Save it and then you are done.

Now thats just the title.
If you want to give someone the actual power then...

1. Go to Admin Panel
2. Go to "Users & Groups"(should be at the top)
3. Click "Groups" on the page
4. Look for the group you want to add the person to.
5. Click the gear button that I sowed you before...
6. Go to the bottom where it says "Group Members"
7. Type the members name and then click "add member"
8. Click save and then you are done

i see no use of this thread anymore...so i will be locking it.
