...for other Nintendo consoles. Not like, one for each console, but one that literally says "Other Nintendo Consoles" and maybe one for non-Nintendo Consoles...just a thought ^_^

I had thought of this, along with a "Sony/Microsoft Chat" sub-forum. However, I came to the realization that this is not WiiChat, and we're not trying to be WiiChat. If this were a Wii website, we would have those sub-forums, but it isn't. Its a SSBB website, in which we have a Wii Sub-forum. They would be like sub-forums of sub-forums and would be pulling away from the general chat (SSBB) of the site. We have a wii sub-forum because SSBB is for wii, but it is not for Sony, Microsoft the DS, or any other console.

Another topic would be if there should be a 'SSB64/SSBM' sub-forum, but thats for another day.

As of right now I doubt this is going to happen. Feel free to make a thread in the Lounge and if it is popular it may get stickied.

Hm, says the guy who wanted to copy the threads over from WiiChat? I'm not trying to be WiiChat I'm saying we should have a broader discussion area cuz I don't typically have time to post in too many other forums...

I did not have the idea of copying the threads from Wiichat, S.S., but I did agree that we could have "similar" threads, not to copy them entirely, or plegialize them...It's a lot different the idea I had in my mind about "copying them" which is: have similar threads.

Thats not the point. Think of the discussions as 'Primary' and 'Secondary'.

You bringing up that thread had nothing to do with this debate. This place isn't WiiChat in the sense that it doesn't revolve around wii, it revolves around SSBB. That doesn't mean we can't have the same threads.

Every forum has a focus. WiiChat's focus is the Nintendo Wii and The Brawlers' Alliance's focus is SSBB. Now, if we think in terms of Primary and Secondary focusses, this is how it would play out:

Wiichat
Primary Focus: Wii

The Brawlers' Alliance
Primary Focus: SSBB
Secondary Focus: Wii

As you can see, while the DS and other consoles may fit into WiiChat, it is my opinion that they wouldn't fit here at the Brawlers' Alliance, because they are neither the primary nor secondary focus.

Ok, well now I see what you're saying, but again, I don't have much extra time not to mention lots of others are saying they'll stop going to WiiChat once more members come here in which case more sub-forums would make that a bit more realistic.
