^Yes, it was quite a surprise. Didn't expect a non-player antagonist pokemon character to be incorporated into the storyline. Looks like they're going all out with this 'Boss' feature. Hopefully after we've defeated a boss, we can play them at will (similar to an event), that would be a nice little addition that I would be sure to use.

Yeah, that would be cool. Although Rayquaza looks to be out cold, I doubt he's a boss...or at least not yet. Maybe comes back for revenge later? I'd expect the Pokemon boss(s) to be the new legendaries from D/P and that movie (besides being totally awesome) was Sakurai's way of sticking as many Pokemon as possible into the game.

And Cyan, don't even worry...the gameplay videos show him pulling it out a lot faster, and considering the speed of Rayquaza's first Hyper Beam compared to the second I'm sure that whole part was in Slow-Mo anyways. It's cool to see how exactly it works though ^_^

I wonder how Lucas' moves reflect a return for Ness...Sakurai made an effort to make them different, but he had very cryptic messages in the update...

"appeared in every Smash game UNTIL NOW" could mean, up to and including Brawl, or he is no more...which would suck seeing as Mother 3 is a Japan-only game...so I'm pretty sure with the combination of my first point in this post and Ness being known world-wide compared to Lucas being known mainly in Japan, Ness WILL return. But that statement has me worried :(
