Alright, what do you guys think the motive here is: Wario is not typically an EVIL character, just a GREEDY one. Perhaps the leader of the Subspace Army (I forget his name at the moment) has brainwashed certain characters? Or is there a huge sum of money involved?

i think he may have hired wario to work for him or somethin of the sort. i also dont think metaknight is evil cause in the 2nd subspace emissary update it showed him fighting some monsters. so maybe he's fighting to get his ship back or somethin

Oh I wanna play this so bad... metaknight will be evil, but like shoko said then I have a little bit of different thoughts

Hm...actually, now that I think about it...both characters that we have seen being used as puppets by the leader (Wario and Meta Knight) tend to work on their own terms...not consistantly good OR evil...so you're prolly right Shoko.

I'm gonna assume that both Meta Knight and Wario are going to switch off between the two sides depending on their motivation throughout the story. As for villains like Bowser, they'll prolly be evil until the end when they get betrayed or something and the last few levels you'll have to use them to fight the Subspace Army...

What a coincidence that they did a movie for it after this thread...

yea hes definantely evil, along with wario. i guess theyre hired to capture everyone by zappin them into trophies

I wonder who else will be on the evil side and who will be on the good side.
